Our Mission

The mission of Somali Youth and Cultural Center is to enrich the lives of Somali youth and adults in the fields of education, healthy living, and cultural preservation.

Our vision is to achieve social and educational excellence and improved quality of life through providing access to high-quality education enrichment programs; and preservation of our heritage religion and culture.

To achieve this mission and vision, Somali Youth and Cultural Center will serve the Greater Seattle King County Metropolitan area in Puget Sound, WA in collaboration with like-purposed organizations providing services and programs. Somali Youth and Cultural Center seeks to address the needs of the multicultural community, serving all residents regardless of culture, ethnicity, race, socioeconomic class, religion, language, age, gender, sexual orientation, or exceptionality (mental or physical ability/disability).
